{Day 41: Rebecca} Things I would do if I worked at the SGC

1. Go to the changing rooms and mix up everyone's team patch so everyone had different numbers
2. Climb to the top of the stargate and just sit there. Wait to see how long it takes for people to notice. Just wave and say 'hi' when they do.
3. Sit in Walter's chair and mess with everyone's head - "Chevron 382... Locked."
4. Instigate training days with nerf guns and funky contacts - 1 point for every airman you bring down, 2 for lieutenants and so on up the ranks. Teal'c is like the SGC snitch - anyone who brings him down gets 150 points and finishes the game...dude. This is so going into a fic now.
5. Run "Funky Food Friday" where everyone brings in their (non-toxic) alien food of the week to share for morning tea
6. Head the decorating committee at Christmas - I'm thinking mistletoe on the top of the gate
7. Hide Jack's baseball caps
8. Be Janet's evil wingman to lure Jack into the infirmary for his physicals
9. Be in nerd heaven cataloguing all artifacts and mission reports (because I've decided that my job shall be as SGC Librarian)
10. Switch all the coffee in the packs for decaf. Watch the fall out.
11. Two words: MALP racing.
12. Set up a huge white board with everyone's death tally. Take bets on when Daniel will next resurrect.
13. Make all the food in the commissary blue to see if Sam still goes for the jello or goes into a weird blue food overload.
14. Create a randomised dialing program and take everyone on a field trip
15. Have a picnic in the gate room'
16. Turn all the books on Daniel's shelves upside down
17. Mess with Teal'c's head and teach him the wrong meanings to things
18. Get Daniel to teach me another language
19. Go on patrols with Siler for a day and be the Gopher's Gopher
20. Create SGC merit badges that everyone can collect and earn. These would include badges for resurrection, meeting a twin, meeting an evil twin, ascending, hugging an Asgard, possessed by a team mate and more. There would be much vying for hard-to-get badges and intergalactic hijinks would ensue. Personally I think Thor would have the most crowded sash.
21. Slid down the banister on the briefing room curly stairs
22. Sneak up behind Walter and yell... CHEVRON LOCKED!!!!! Really loud.
23. Cover for Jack and Sam
24. Help Jack work on his list of Ba'al insults
25. Play cupid for Walter and Carolyn Lam
26. Try to help Sam in her lab... And likely electrocute myself
27. Label all the planet files with secondary, easier to remember, names, but styled after F.R.I.E.N.D.S. episodes. EG: The One With All the Unas (P3X-888), The One With the Alpha Site (P4X-650), etc.
28. Have a great deal of fun dipping into the base betting pool - which head!canon tells me is run by Ferretti
29. Steal the bases' entire supply of ball point pens and make everyone who wants one tell me a story first
30. Buy some of those funny giant q-tip things, fashion Jaffa armours out of bubble wrap and hold grudge matches in the gate room (don't look at me like that, you totally want to play)
31. Steal Teal'c gold body glitter (you wondered where that went, huh) and paint shiny pictures on the corridor walls - that place needs some livening up.
32. Get a voice changey thing, hide behind doors and scare the bejeezus out of everyone.
33. Make up funny names for the guards who never talk and insist on referring to them by that no matter how many times people try to correct me.
34. Pick a new planet every week and go around telling people that I'm really an alien and that's my homeland. Make up new accents to go along with this.
35. Fix a giant projector screen behind the stargate and invite everyone to come a movie night utilising my awesome, stargate-shaped flat screen
36. Adopt every cute alien animal I come across
37. Try to convince Hammond that I'm sane enough to accompany teams off world
38. Hide under Carter's desk and make random beeping noises at odd intervals
39. Beat the base yo-yo record, much to Jack's chagrin
40. Target practice with the staff weapon - looks like fun... I'll probably die.
41. Take a tally of every time Teal'c says 'indeed', the create shiny weekly graphs and show them at the briefing. Tis okay, Teal'c and I are buds.
