Rebecca Says...
- Well... this project would have to be pretty high up on the list
- The time I went camping in my backyard
- The fact that when I went camping in my backyard I bought my lightsaber instead of a torch
- The time I drove to Canberra to visit Lisa simply because Canberra is closer than Melbourne
- That time I joined a LJ community and let some weird person convince me to try out this 'twitter thing'
- Starting a comic dedicated to geekiness
- Purchasing steam punk googles to be my 'Claudia goggles' while watching WH13

- Having a lecturer correctly interpret the look on my face as discomfort when someone beat me to my regular seat in the lecture hall - resulting in him asking them to move before my head exploded.
- Auditioning for The Sound of Music despite my complete lack of acting ability simply because it's my favourite musical and there was no way I was passing that up.

- Anything that made it's way onto tumblr
- Being known for being the girl who knitted in the uni bar

- Lisa and I belting out showtunes and then deciding to call Courtney and sing them to her
- Making Wizard of Oz gingerbread cookies and then not being able to eat them cause it made me sad
- The conversation in my head between Magnus and Janeway EVERY SINGLE TIME I have either a cup of tea or coffee
- Basically every single day of my life cause I know there are a ton more things I could add to my list.
1. You know this is part of why you are AWESOME, right?
ReplyDelete2. Oh yes, I've done this :D well... not the Vancouver part, but still. I also may have put the sg soundtrack on my ipod while doing this so I had the appropriate background music happening ;)
3. Uh, this is AWESOME!
4. *grin* dude this is the best list
5. never done this :( have done a writing comp (ooh went to writer's camp! Should have put that on my list), and an art comp, but not a science one.
6. This. lol.
7. *g* I made bsg ones last week
8. BWUAHAH true.
9. Duuuude. Show.
10. LOL!
11. Whaaaaaaat the heck was that???
12. *snicker* I've had orders like that
13. LOL nice
14.BWUAHAHAHASHAHAHAHAHAH YES! *snicker* I love this.
15. Naw such a nerd.
1. LOL yes. You do know how obsessed I was.
Delete2. WIN!
4. Remind me to send you a copy. I meant to and then my hard drive died.
5. It was so much fun. I never ended up placing high enough to get a ribbon but I did come in 3rd in an accounting competition.
9. Remind me next time I go home. I don't have it with me.
11. It's from a commercial. For cat food. They used to play it all the time on TV. Be glad you didn't have to grow up listening to it.
15. It was when I was first getting into stargate. So um yeah.
OMG I forgot band summer programs. Like day camp...for band. That's so geektastic.
1. I've never actually read Little House... *ducks*
Delete2. *g* such nerdery
4. will do :)
5. Dude seriously? That is just... weirdly awesome.
9. again, will do :)
11. I am very glad.
15. I bought all mine in one go (maaaaasive sale, got the first 9 seasons for less than $100) and marathoned them like crazy.
1. At least read the first two. They're my favs. I think the series is more an American thing and a book nerdy one at that. Most people know what it is but haven't read it or know because their parents watched the show growing up.
Delete5. Yeah I got a trophy for the accounting competition. It even has a gold star!
15. I almost did that in 2010 during the fangirl summer. It wouldn't have fit in my suitcase though... turned out for the best even if all 10 seasons would've been like $85 USD
1. I watched the show growing up, but I will definitely read the books. They're even sitting on my ipad ready to go.
Delete5. ...I love this for reasons
15. damn the finite space of a suitcase!
1. The show is really nothing like the books. The books are so much better.
Delete5. I love things for reasons is the greatest thing ever. Makes my fangirl happy
15. It would've been over the weight limit too *pouts* I need Hermione's bag, I'm telling you.
1. Noted, and I shall get back to you when I start/
Delete5. IKR I completely agree!
15. OOh me too please.
I'm really excited about this!! Also I somehow ended up with two ebooks for Little Women. Clearly Amazon is in cahoots with you.
Delete*g* Yes, Amazon and I had words :)
Delete3. This was quite memorable.
ReplyDelete5. HAHAHA <33
7. I do so approve of this
9. This is why I always got to class 10 minutes early
12. True fact.
14. I'd be afraid someone would spill something on my knitting...I'm a bit precious.
16. \o/
18. And then rubbing off on me.
23. WIN! I was never able to get away with such awesome.
27. It's tea. Seriously. There have been wars over tea. I've yet to hear anything about one over coffee.
3. So I've been told :)
Delete5. Is exactly how it happened. She was all "Hi I'm Lili, hope you don't mind I'm stalking you. Come play on twitter, it will eat your life." ... okay that last part might not be accurate.
7. I have been having fun :D
9. I WAS. It was a freak anomaly.
12. Ya huh
14. pfft not like I was sitting at the actual bar. It was a bar/bistro and I sat on the lounge.
16. totally makes my day
18. and that. Not that you can talk graph girl.
23. It was my favourite uni paper ever :D
27. I bet I could make something up.
5. LOL that's such a true fact.
Delete9. WHAT? NOT COOL?
14. OK that makes more sense.
18. shhhh
27. It doesn't count if you make it up. If you incite something on the other hand...
5. yahuh. I shall blame her always.
Delete9. I KNOW! Which is why the lecturer (who was awesome and knew my weirdness) was kind and made her move
14. yup. Cause when you think of me you totally think bar
18. *snicker*
27. ...I could do that.
14. I don't understand bars. I like pubs though, foooooooooooooooooood.
Delete27. You get to work on that. I'll keep an eye on the news.
14. Agreed. My friends and I are rather fond of pub dinners. We have an Irish pub (O'Donoghue's) in the next town over which is lovely, and another one (The Log Cabin) at which a friend is the chef - free chips for the table :)
Delete27. Mwuahahahaha
